California Asbestos Safety Poster

Asbestos is still present in many older buildings, and renovation, demolition, and maintenance work can release fibers that cause serious lung disease decades after exposure. This California asbestos safety poster summarizes the workplace health and safety requirements that protect workers from asbestos hazards, giving crews a clear daily reminder of why exposure controls, proper work practices, and protective equipment matter. Workers most at risk include demolition crews, insulators, plumbers, electricians, and maintenance staff working in buildings constructed before asbestos was phased out of building materials. The poster reinforces the fundamentals: recognize materials that may contain asbestos, never disturb suspect material without controls in place, and report concerns to a supervisor before work begins. Post it in break rooms, job trailers, and training areas where abatement crews and contractors will see it before the shift starts. Take a look at our asbestos awareness training to pair classroom instruction with this poster. POSTER INFO: Laminated on both sides and printed in high quality full color. Size: 24 x 39 inches.
