Back injuries from lifting are costly and often avoidable. This poster covers the basics of safe lifting: plan the lift before you start, bend at the knees and keep your back straight, hold the load close to your body, avoid twisting while carrying, and ask for help or use equipment for heavy or awkward items. Post it in warehouses, stockrooms, loading areas, and anywhere employees regularly lift or move materials.
