Description – 2026 Washington Labor Law Poster
Washington’s minimum wage is the highest statewide rate in the country at $17.13 per hour as of January 1, 2026, and the state pairs it with paid sick leave and a statewide Paid Family and Medical Leave program. This 2026 Washington combo gathers the required state and federal notices on one laminated poster, including L&I’s “Your Rights as a Worker” summary and the Paid Family and Medical Leave notice.
- Washington’s minimum wage effective January 1, 2026, is $17.13 per hour, up from $16.66 in 2025. Workers who are 14 or 15 years old may be paid 85% of the adult minimum wage, or $14.56 per hour. - Paid sick leave is a protected right under Washington’s Minimum Wage Act, covered on L&I’s required “Your Rights as a Worker” workplace poster. Source: Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, Workers’ Rights page — L&I Workers’ Rights
- Washington employers must display a Paid Family and Medical Leave workplace poster. Employers must also notify employees in writing when they have been away from work for seven consecutive days for reasons that could be covered by the program.
