If your employees use or handle any hazardous chemicals, OSHA requires your company to have a written Hazard Communication plan in place (§1910.1200). This Hazard Communication Program Template is a perfect compliance tool.

The HazCom plan sets policies and responsibilities to ensure that employees know and understand the hazards of the chemicals they use or are exposed to in the workplace. This includes requirements for labeling all chemical containers, keeping Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and providing training. Nearly all workplaces outside of office environments contain hazardous chemicals and are required to have these policies in place.
