How noise damages your hearing
The five parts of a hearing conservation program
Comparing hearing protection types: what works best and where
How to wear and take care of your hearing protection
Why Hearing Conservation Matters
Hearing loss from noise is permanent, and in most cases it was preventable. The damage builds up quietly over months and years, and by the time someone notices they are asking people to repeat themselves, the loss is done. Earplugs and earmuffs only work when they are the right type, fitted correctly, and actually worn.
This course is for everyone who works around noisy tools, equipment, or processes: manufacturing workers, construction crews, airport ground staff, musicians and venue workers, and anyone whose workplace runs a hearing conservation program. It covers how noise damages hearing and what to do about it.
